Meet Pax the Penguin, a beginner penguin crochet pattern!
Pax is so cute, cuddly soft, and perfectly huggable. Pax would make a darling gift for the penguin lover in your life. During the holiday season, I placed Pax on a chair in my living room and had several kids request to take him home! Pax the Penguin is the first pattern available in the cuddle collection from KaCee’s Crochet! More patterns will be added to the cuddle collection soon!
Pax is made with jumbo weight yarn and measures 13 inches tall when finished. Pax is quick to put together and can be yours in just a few hours. This pattern includes a PDF pattern with instructions and photos to create Pax from start to finish. The pattern is an advanced beginner project and uses only basic crochet stitches. So, if you have started learning amigurumi and are looking for a pattern to learn a little bit more, then this pattern is just right for you!
Materials needed for this pattern:
7 mm crochet hook
Jumbo weight yarn in desired colors (I used Sweet Snuggles yarn by Loops and Threads)
Yarn/tapestry needle
Stuffing
30 mm safety eyes*
Stitch markers
*Safety eyes are not recommended for toys that will used by children under 3 years old. If you would like to make a toy for a child under 3, an embroidered eye would be really cute!
I usually buy my safety eyes on Amazon, but you can find them at craft stores or on Etsy as well.
