Meet Ginger and Snap the Gingerbread Boy and Girl, a beginner gingerbread crochet pattern!
Ginger and Snap would make an adorable addition to your winter holiday decor and would be a perfect stocking stuffer! My family has loved having Ginger and Snap sitting on our console table this holiday season. Any amigurumi is adorable, but a gingerbread boy and girl for the holidays, is even better!
When finished and sitting they measure around 5 1/2 inches tall and 8 inches from head to toe. They are fast to put together and can be part of your holidays in only a few hours! In fact, you could use a thicker yarn and larger crochet hook to make Ginger and Snap much larger and more huggable!
This pattern includes a PDF file with instructions and photos to create these gingerbread dolls. The pattern is suitable for advanced beginners, but persistent beginners will love this pattern as well! Only basic crochet stitches are used in this pattern. You should know how to start with a magic circle, single crochet, single crochet increase, invisible decrease, double crochet, slip stitch, and chain.
Materials needed for this pattern:
